Wonder World Amusement Park
Wii
Oh look, a mini-game collection on Wii. Not just any old mini-collection, mind you, but one specifically geared toward kids and their grandmas. How clever. They might be on to something here.
Top Spin 3
Wii
Not to be confused with a great tennis simulation, Top Spin 3 is a great tennis simulation... that is, unless you're talking this here Wii version of the game, which is not a great tennis simulation, it's just based on one.
Wacky Races: Crash & Dash
Wii
If you're old enough to remember watching 60s-era Hanna-Barbara cartoons on Saturday mornings, take off the rose-colored spectacles o' nostalgia for a minute and recall how crappy they really were. Wacky Races on Wii is like that, only you have to pay for it. So don't.
Blast Works
Wii
As the likes of RPG Maker and Fighter Maker date back to the mid-90's, Majesco's Blast Works is not the first game of game design, but is it the first to bust out of the swamp of casual mediocrity on Wii to offer something that is still expectedly "casual" yet elaborately interactive, too.
Kung Fu Panda
PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360
There's nothing quite like gathering the family together on the couch, firing up the oh-so wholesome Wii and then beating the crap out of all creatures great and small. And cuddly.
Emergency Mayhem
Wii
As Wii successfully engages the "casual" and "social" gamers, the tots and the grandparents of tots, kids and their parents, software expectations in general become notably lower than the "new generation" average. Emergency Mayhem for Wii does absolutely nothing to argue the point.
Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures
PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360
Swapping Force for Fedora, the plastic fantastic Lego games go grave robbing with some whipsmacking professor named Henry. Mind the snakes.
Wii Fit
Wii
Be skeptical if you must, but Wii Fit really is a game that's good for your health. Better said, it's a great game that's also good for you health.
